Christmas Tree Lighting

At the Baur au Lac, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony is the radiant start to the festive season. We are delighted to once again celebrate this beloved tradition with you at the Baur au Lac Park.

Zurich's tallest Christmas tree lights up at 6.00pm and rings in the festive season with mulled wine, punch and biscuits. Father Christmas and the mischief maker will of course also be there to light up the eyes of our little guests just as much. Additionally musicians from the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich will ensure a musical highlight.

Important information regarding advance ticket sale: Tickets are already sold out.
The dazzling event has gained so much popularity in Zurich over the past 19 years that even the sprawling Baur au Lac Park has been pushed to its capacity limits. For this reason, admission this year requires the purchase of an online ticket priced at CHF 10. 
Tickets are limited. There will be no box office on the evening of the event.

As an early Christmas gift, all proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Children's Hospital Zurich.
