We care for your safety
Please note that travellers from countries that have been classified as risk areas by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (see current list here) must go into quarantine for a period of 10 days.
For the common protection of our guests and staff, we additionally ask travellers affected by this measure to present a negative PCR test at check-in (not older than 48 hours).
If you cannot present a certified test result, we will arrange for you to take a rapid test at the Baur au Lac.
The Swiss Federal Council has decided on further measures to reduce the number of Covid-19 infections, resulting in our restaurants being available to hotel guests only until further notice. Our lobby bar Le Hall is open daily for hotel residents from 09.00 am to 11.00 pm. Our Baur's Brasserie & Bar is available Thursday through Saturday evenings. Our restaurant Pavillon is open Friday and Saturday evenings. The Baur au Lac Terrace welcomes hotel guests and external guests again from 19.04.2021. Our Baur's @Home takeaway and delivery offer is still available to external guests on a daily basis.

PERSONAL MESSAGE TO OUR GUESTS
In the 176 years since it was founded, the Baur au Lac has experienced many wonderful periods and unique historical events. It has also dealt with the challenges that have arisen during that time.
The events happening at present are new for all of us, and that means we must all do what we can to act sensibly and responsibly. The coronavirus (COVID-19) is changing society in ways we have never seen before. As a result, the Pavillon restaurant, Le Hall and Baur's Brasserie & Bar at Baur au Lac will remain closed until further notice. We are doing everything we can to provide our guests with our undivided attention, so they may continue to enjoy a pleasant stay even in this difficult period.
We are confident that the measures taken by the Swiss authorities will adequately contain the spread of the coronavirus, with the result that we can all return to our normal daily lives in due course.
We have high hopes for the future and look forward to the time when the Baur au Lac is once again operating as usual. We will keep you abreast of all developments via regular updates on this website. You can also continue to reach us by email and phone at +41442205020.
The Kracht family, the management team and our employees wish you all the best during this time.
Take good care and stay healthy.
