Baur au Lac Terrace

Riviera Feeling on Lake Zurich

419241 Baur au Lac Terrassenshooting7674 CO51 DL (2)

Hotspot for cool drinks with a view

Our Baur au Lac Terrasse is a true oasis in the heart of Zurich, where both locals and international travellers get to rest after a long business day or an extensive shopping spree on the bustling Bahnhofstrasse. Thanks to its privileged location, our Terrace restaurant and the adjacent bar offer many cosy spots boasting panoramic views of Lake Zurich and the Alps. Here, we always like to see the glass as half-full...preferably with ice-cold champagne, a refreshing cocktail or a crisp wine from our extensive wine list, curated by our Sommelier World Champion Marc Almert.

A Taste of Summer at Lake Zurich

Taste the summer and enjoy the Mediterranean vibes from noon to sunset – on the Baur au Lac Terrasse you get to enjoy summer all day long. Following the principle of “Sharing is caring”, the new menu features various smaller dishes – octopus croquettes and tataki variations tempt you to try them together. Our beautiful dessert vitrine, filled with the finest homemade French patisseries, will tempt those with a sweet tooth. Homemade ice creams and sorbets are the perfect "cool-down" of an enjoyable summer day.

The Sound of Summer

Eyes, nose, taste buds & ears: On the Baur au Lac Terrasse, summer can be felt with all your senses. Now you get to also take this "summer feeling" along with you. Our new Spotify playlist, curated by "musicconcierge" from London, provides the soundtrack for the perfect terrace or balcony evening at home. #bauraulacmoments
