The renowned composer lived in Zurich for nine years – longer than anywhere else – and created large parts of his masterpiece "The Ring of the Nibelung" here. Now the "Ring" is back: in May 2024, the four-opera cycles will be performed twice at the Zurich Opera House.  You can now spend the night where Wagner first read the "Ring" poetry to the public and even sang parts of it himself - with none other than Franz Liszt at the piano!
